Black mass

Blackmass is recovered from spent LIBs and scrap from the battery manufacturing process in high purity through a highly efficient process that utilizes DRT's innovative technology.

Pyrolysis Equipment

The shredded spent LIBs are pyrolyzed in an oxygen-free atmosphere at 500℃ with DRT's innovative technology to recover Al and Cu without oxidizing them and completely removing the organic matter in the black mass.

Electrolyte Recovery Equipment

The electrolyte, binder, and separator are decomposed into gases in the pyrolysis plant and recovered as liquids in the electrolyte recovery plant.

Developing biomass-based SAF production technologies

DRT is developing bio-oil production technology using lignocellulosic and herbaceous biomass and *SAF production technology through co-processing with bio-oil.
Based on biomass, which is an abundant resource, DRT is taking the lead in pioneering future markets by solving the problem of utilising plant and animal oil-based resources, contributing to carbon reduction, and laying the foundation for obtaining aviation biofuels certification.
